I Will Bring Responsible Leadership to House District 26

After spending time listening to residents across Eagle, Routt, Moffat, and Rio Blanco counties, I am running for Colorado House District 26 because Western Slope communities deserve a strong, principled voice in Denver — one that actually understands our way of life.

Our district is unique. We have world-class resort economies in Eagle and Routt counties facing housing shortages and rising costs. At the same time, Moffat and Rio Blanco counties are powering Colorado through energy production and agriculture, yet they’re often ignored or penalized by Front Range policymakers. Despite our differences, we share the same core frustrations: unaffordable housing, increasing property taxes, threats to our water rights, and overreaching regulations coming from Denver.

I believe we need fresh leadership that will:

  • Fight for practical workforce housing solutions
  • Protect energy jobs and reliable power
  • Defend our water rights in the Colorado River Basin
  • Strengthen TABOR and control government spending
  • Put local control ahead of one-size-fits-all mandates

Why I can do this job: As a resident of Western Colorado for almost three decades, I understand the tourism economies and the energy-producing communities in this district. I’ve worked through the economic ups and downs, and raised kids during the good times and tough times. I’m deeply committed to the values that make our region special — hard work, personal responsibility, fiscal discipline, and respect for rural Colorado. I’m not a career politician. I’m running to be a strong advocate who will fight every day for the people of House District 26.

This campaign is about restoring responsibility to Colorado state government and ensuring our communities remain affordable, prosperous, and true to who we are.

If you share these values and want real representation for Western Colorado, please support my campaign. Together, we can begin to take back Colorado by starting right here at home.
